Some users report problems with tests, which are sometimes caused by cache problems. Here's how to clear the cache on your computer.

Mac

Safari:
  • Open up Safari
  • Go to the menu bar at the top of the browser.
  • Click on Safari
  • Click on Empty Cache.

Firefox:
  • Open up Firefox
  • Click on History which is located in the menu bar at the top of the browser.
  • Click on Clear Recent History.
  • In the pop up window, go to the drop-down menu next to Time Range
  • Select Everything.
    • Then make sure that Cache is selected
  • Click Clear Now.

Chrome:
  • Open up Chrome
  • Go the menu bar at the top of the browser.
  • Click on Chrome
  • Click on Clear Browsing Data.
    • A window should pop up .
  • Where it says "obliterate the following items from", select "the beginning of time" from the drop down menu.
    • Make sure Empty the cache is selected
  • Click Clear Browsing Data.

PC

Internet Explorer:
  • Open up Internet Explorer
  • Go to the Tool button, which is the gear icon located in the upper right corner of the browser
  • Click Internet Options.
  • Go to the General Tab and go down to Browsing history
    • Make sure that Temporary Internet Files is selected
  • Click Delete.

Firefox:
  • Open Firefox
  • Go to the Firefox drop-down menu located in the upper left corner of the browser.
  • Hover your mouse over History and click on Clear Recent History.
  • In the pop up window go to the drop-down menu next to Time Range
  • Select Everything.
    • Make sure that Cache is selected
  • Click Clear Now.

Chrome:
  • Open Chrome
  • Go to the wrench icon located in the upper right corner of your browser.
  • Click on Tools
  • Click on Clear browsing data.
  • In the drop-down menu, select the beginning of time.
    • Make sure that Empty the cache is selected
  • Click Clear browsing data.
